When approved, you receive a unique link like gotmaple.ca?ref=GM-ABC123 by email. Share it anywhere — Instagram bio, blog posts, newsletters, YouTube descriptions, TikTok captions. When a buyer clicks your link and makes a purchase within 30 days, that sale is credited to you automatically via cookie-based attribution.
You earn 3% on a referred buyer's first purchase. After that, you earn 2% on every purchase they make for the next 12 months. If you refer 100 or more buyers in a month, you qualify as a Super Affiliate and earn an additional 3% bonus rate on all sales that month.
When a buyer you referred signs up and becomes a verified GotMaple seller, you receive $10 in MaplePass credits added to your account. There is no cap on how many times you can earn this bonus.
Commissions are paid monthly on the 15th via EFT to your Canadian bank account, provided your balance meets the $25 minimum threshold.
No. There is no minimum follower or traffic requirement. Small creators, community groups, and newsletters are all welcome.
Yes. Affiliate commissions are T4A income and must be reported to the CRA on your annual tax return. GotMaple will issue a T4A slip if your earnings exceed $500 in a calendar year.
Yes. You can share your affiliate links on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, newsletters, and more. Per CRTC guidelines, you must disclose your affiliate relationship clearly.
The 2% recurring commission applies to all purchases made by your referred buyer within 12 months of their first purchase through your link. After 12 months, the recurring commission expires for that buyer.
