Most items purchased on GotMaple can be returned within 30 days of delivery, in their original condition with original packaging. Check the product page for item-specific exceptions.
💬 Contact the Seller
Log in to your GotMaple account and open the relevant order. Use the "Contact Seller" button to request a return through your order dashboard.
📦 Ship the Item Back
The seller will provide a prepaid Canada Post return label if applicable. Pack the item securely and attach the label before dropping it off at any Canada Post location.
🔍 Item Inspected
The seller confirms receipt and inspects the item within 5 business days. You will receive an email notification once the return is processed.
💳 Refund Issued
Your refund is returned to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of the seller confirming the return. Credit card processing times may vary.
Non-Returnable Items
Digital goods, food / perishable items, custom or personalized items, and opened personal hygiene products are non-returnable.
The following cannot be returned: perishable food and fresh products, digital downloads and software codes, custom or personalized items, opened personal hygiene items, and any item returned after the 30-day window.
If the item arrived damaged, defective, or doesn't match the listing, the seller covers return shipping with a prepaid Canada Post label. For change-of-mind returns, the buyer is typically responsible for return shipping costs.
Once the seller confirms receipt of the returned item, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement.
Take photos of the damage immediately and contact the seller through your GotMaple order dashboard within 48 hours of delivery. If the seller does not respond within 48 hours, contact GotMaple support at support@gotmaple.ca and we will resolve the issue.
Exchanges are handled directly between you and the seller. Contact the seller through your order dashboard to request an exchange. Not all sellers offer exchanges — if an exchange is not available, you may return the item for a full refund and place a new order.
